What are Rilief Valves?
Rilief Valve is a device installed on pipes used to regulate the outlet pressure on a pipe or tank, or a pressure vessel. That is why the safety valve is also called the pressure regulator valve.
The main task of Rilief Valve is to protect all the equipment installed behind it from the increase in excess of the rated value, to avoid overpressure causing pipe breakage, pipe explosion and associated equipment.
